Just a head's-up for everyone. We're going to postpone meeting till the 1st too get through the holiday and give me a chance to organize some things. I'm excited about a new direction I feel the Lord has given us, but it's going to take a little planning. Thanks to everyone who keeps coming! We'll see you on the first!

Greetings, fellow pray-ers! Thanks very much to all of you who came out on election night. We stood on the courthouse steps under a beautiful moon and prayed over the wind and the trains. ☺ Good stuff. Since it was so cold we didn't beat about the bush much; just prayed for the elections and that God's will would be done and made clear and that the Kingdom would come in power. and now we shall see what that looks like!
This week we're back at Coffee Outfitters in Adna. 6:00 on Tuesday night. Soup provided, so come hungry!

Greetings everyone! Last week the spiritual warfare aspect of our roll as pray-ers came font and center. There were some great ideas put forth, like prayer walks and/or bike rides throughout the county, mapping out the roots of much of the darkness as God reveals it, and really going after the stuff about which we are already aware.
The subject of repentance also figured largely, based on the pairing of these two verses: Luke 18:1-8 "Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, saying, 'In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man. There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, "Give me legal protection from my opponent." For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, "Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.'"
And the Lord said, "Hear what the unrighteous judge said; now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?'"
And 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
His just response presupposes our confession and repentance. In fact, from Old Testament to New, we see the pattern of repentance then restoration. The prophets confessed and repented of the sins of the people, and John and Jesus came saying, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!" Perhaps we are not helpless in the face of local evil; there is something we can do.
The list of things against which we are battling, then, are these:
*Sexual immorality, in general, and specifically among believers.
*Free Masonry.
*Spiritual blindness.
*Unspecified darkness withing local government and local schools.
If anyone has questions about this (I realize it's not an every-day topic), please feel free to contact me. I have a lot of excellent resources I can pass along.
This week, per request, we are meeting at the court house in Chehalis, right off of Main Street. We'll start on the steps (which face NW North Street) and see what happens from there. 6:00. We'll be praying like crazy over this election! Dress warmly. It should be dry, but cold.

Greetings, warriors! We had a great prayer time last week and look forward to another this Tuesday in the cozy "living room" of Coffee Outfitters. Soup and bread are being provided these days by Debbie MacInnis (my phenomenal mother), which we hope will make up for the conflict with dinner time.
The over-arching theme of last meeting was Preparation and Perseverance. At least a couple of us are feeling an urgency descending over this county, one that means the Lord is shortly to break out with power and cleansing, and we should "buckle up" and hold fast because freedom, restoration, and transformation are not always nice and friendly processes. Intimidating but exciting things. It's a little overwhelming, but wow, what a cool thing of which to be a part!
There were a lot of personal requests which I won't mention here, but in general we want to remember:
*Our public schools and the very dark places they have become.
*To ask that a spirit of prayer settle on the saints of Lewis County.
*Healing in families and in individuals.
*Up-coming elections.
*The political agendas that need either support or defeat.
*Our soldiers serving all over the world.
*Local ministries like Love INC and the Care Center and Safe Family Ministries.
There were lost of praises, in general and specifically, which was lovely. I can add thanks today that the Love INC auction went very well on the 24th, and that two concerts that partly benefited Safe Family and Love INC also went very well. The Lord is very much afoot around here, and the wave seems to be gathering speed. Come on out and join us at Coffee Outfitters, Tuesday the 27th at 6:00. Expect the Kingdom!
