2nd and 3rd report and location for the 28th

My apologies for not getting to the blog last week. But that just means there are twice as many cool stories to report.

Last week we gathered at the courthouse, and there were double our numbers for the previous week! Also significant was the fact that we had three guys this time. Thank you, men! The resounding themes that emerged from our prayers on the steps were transformation of the county and its people from the inside out, that God would bless those already in positions of leadership, that He would just give us the county and come dwell here, not just visit, and that He would train up the young men and provide work for them as they begin to raise their families. The word humility came up a lot, and three verses stood out: Dan. 11:32 "The people who know God shall be strong and do exploits." "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord." And Micah 6:8, "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God?" Any prayers along those lines would be brilliant!

This week nine of us met on the steps of the Care Center and prayed for the two establishments that face each other across Main Street. These three weeks have really brought forward the desire to pray for the people who are involved in unrighteousness-- for their health, for their issues, for their stuff. We want transformation and restoration! We asked for the Lord to dwell at the Care Center in such power that everyone who goes across the street or drives through our parking lot would be affected by the power of it. We asked that He wouldn't wait for our permission to work, but that He would just work! And we asked for Him to uncork His signs and wonders that those who don't know Him would be drawn to Him by the healing of their hurts, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. We don't want to be guilty of asking for too little.

One of the main praises came out in recounting God's faithfulness, which we do to get psyched up before we pray. I personally have been wanting to know where there are others locally and in the state of Washington who have this same desire to see our towns and cities transformed. My best friend, who lives in California, told me on Monday that she'd heard a speaker over the weekend who was visiting from Mason County. They have a similar burden for their area, and God is already doing incredible things with them. Like using them to bring one of the top leaders of the occult for Mason County back to the Lord. Amazing story. Wish I had time to repeat it all. So be encouraged! One of the main lies of the enemy is that we are alone and labor in obscurity. We are not alone. The Lord has people everywhere. In fact we also found out that a family (which was represented in our group last night) has begun to pray in Rochester and they are seeing amazing works of God through the unity of three generations of kin. I love how He works in families!

Lastly, we decided to meet in the WalMart parking lot next week. Probably in a corner where their aren't many cars. We wanted a central location where the people of the county meet. Couldn't think of a better place. :-) Be there at 7:30 and come armed with what the Lord has been up to in your life!

First Report and Location for Tuesday the 14th

We have begun! Tuesday night found four of us gathered at the Chehalis Park n' Ride and there are some very cool things to report.
*In a fun example of God-math, we four represented a geographical compass of the four distinct sections of the county, living east and west of I-5, and north and south of highways twelve and six.
*I've never seen the Adult Shop closed, but that night it was. Not till the last of us were getting in our cars did the owner return.
*The tenor of all prayers, even in the midst of taking authority and battling the enemy, was one of grace and blessing. While we despise and confront the works of the god of this world, we see the people as hurting, deceived and longing for a satisfaction that will last. They are not the enemy.

There were some concepts presented as we prayed that we'd also like to ask God to establish. I list them below so you can join us:
*Since the Chehalis Valley is already a flood plain, that the blood of Jesus would come like a tidal wave, bringing healing, restoration, and righteousness to the whole county, then "bleeding over" into the eight counties that border us.
*Prayerful preparation for each new location. We don't want to cavalierly approach enemy territory without recognizing his strength and his malice. That said, He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, and we want to come in the authority of who we are in Him and in faith in His power, His good will, and His desire to see His Bride walk in her glory here and now. We're asking for things He desires for the whole earth; we don't need to apologize, beg, or twist His arm.
*In that same vein, look for Him to show off. After all, He's a bridegroom besotted with His girl and very interested in impressing her. Prepare to laugh with delight at He struts His stuff!

Next week we plan to meet on the court house steps. I've checked city ordinances and it's fine. From Main Street, turn onto NW Chehalis Ave. and then onto NW North Street. We'll be there at 7:30, Tuesday night, the 14th. Come to bless and pray for our local government, and to decide where to go next week. Bring family and friends and your faith in a powerful God!

Launch!

Hello, friends! Lately my desire to see the Kingdom come in power and authority in Lewis County has been growing by leaps and bounds. Through the testimonies of various Believers in various decades and in various locations all over the globe, I have been dared to believe God for transformation right here. I've been dared to believe that when we ask for impossible things, and pay God the compliment of having no plan B besides His doing something amazing, He likes to show off. So in faith I am launching this blog to facilitate a coordinated attack on the strongholds of the enemy in our county. This week we'll be gathering at Exit 77 on I-5 at the park and ride, Tuesday the 7th, at 7:30. The "adult shop" there on the corner has been a thorn in my spirit since we moved here, and I'd like nothing better than to pray it out of business.

Three things this is not:
*This is not a protest. It's literally a prayer meeting.
*This is not affiliated with any specific organized church. We are the church.
*As such, this is not meant to be a hard-and-fast organization or ministry. If people want to go to a different sight or split into groups, more power to them. One way or the other the ground needs to be covered, and I have no idea what God has in mind for that to look like.

This Tuesday we'll pray and plan where to go next week. This is both a fight-the-enemy endeavor and an encourage-the-Brethren endeavor, so we'll be praying over places like the adult shop, and over the businesses and ministries of fellow Christians. And of course we'll be doing the rounds of the local government offices and community services such as City Hall, the court house, the fire stations, and the hospital.

Bring your friends, get the word out, come armed with Scripture to pray, and please come expecting God to do miraculous things. Let's band together and believe Him!
