2nd and 3rd report and location for the 28th

My apologies for not getting to the blog last week. But that just means there are twice as many cool stories to report.

Last week we gathered at the courthouse, and there were double our numbers for the previous week! Also significant was the fact that we had three guys this time. Thank you, men! The resounding themes that emerged from our prayers on the steps were transformation of the county and its people from the inside out, that God would bless those already in positions of leadership, that He would just give us the county and come dwell here, not just visit, and that He would train up the young men and provide work for them as they begin to raise their families. The word humility came up a lot, and three verses stood out: Dan. 11:32 "The people who know God shall be strong and do exploits." "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord." And Micah 6:8, "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God?" Any prayers along those lines would be brilliant!

This week nine of us met on the steps of the Care Center and prayed for the two establishments that face each other across Main Street. These three weeks have really brought forward the desire to pray for the people who are involved in unrighteousness-- for their health, for their issues, for their stuff. We want transformation and restoration! We asked for the Lord to dwell at the Care Center in such power that everyone who goes across the street or drives through our parking lot would be affected by the power of it. We asked that He wouldn't wait for our permission to work, but that He would just work! And we asked for Him to uncork His signs and wonders that those who don't know Him would be drawn to Him by the healing of their hurts, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. We don't want to be guilty of asking for too little.

One of the main praises came out in recounting God's faithfulness, which we do to get psyched up before we pray. I personally have been wanting to know where there are others locally and in the state of Washington who have this same desire to see our towns and cities transformed. My best friend, who lives in California, told me on Monday that she'd heard a speaker over the weekend who was visiting from Mason County. They have a similar burden for their area, and God is already doing incredible things with them. Like using them to bring one of the top leaders of the occult for Mason County back to the Lord. Amazing story. Wish I had time to repeat it all. So be encouraged! One of the main lies of the enemy is that we are alone and labor in obscurity. We are not alone. The Lord has people everywhere. In fact we also found out that a family (which was represented in our group last night) has begun to pray in Rochester and they are seeing amazing works of God through the unity of three generations of kin. I love how He works in families!

Lastly, we decided to meet in the WalMart parking lot next week. Probably in a corner where their aren't many cars. We wanted a central location where the people of the county meet. Couldn't think of a better place. :-) Be there at 7:30 and come armed with what the Lord has been up to in your life!
