Going Deeper

More fun stuff at Pray Lewis County on the 15th. Lots of prayer requests that added up to the enemy really going after the local saints. On every level: health, finances, marriages, children, spiritual and emotional well-being. You name it. The flip-side is that the attack seems to be in desperate response to the Holy Spirit starting to shake things up. The enemy is nervous! Still, it's really on our hearts that His children realize they are being targeted by the Accuser and not just by the daily grind of life. So come on Tuesday and bind up each others' wounds with prayer!

The verses, songs, and words the Lord brought to our minds as we prayed were these:
Isa. 54 as a whole; Isa. 34:18-19 specifically in the sense that ♫♪"God will make a way when there seems to be no way."♪♫ Last week after Project Unity met at the Lewis and Clark Hotel the song coursing through me was ♪"The time is now, come, Church, arise! Love with His hands, see with His eyes, bind it around you, let it never leave you-- they will know you by your love."♪ He is moving and calling the Church out, but now we're becoming large enough to be a target. The words were Impossible and Perseverance. God loves to do the impossible. And He loves our perseverance. All this impossible stuff is only to perfect us in faith, because in some way, beyond comprehension, it's important to Him that we be perfect in this way. Rom. 5:2-6. Wahoo!

This week we'll be in the small conference room at the Chehalis Library, 400 N. Market Blvd.. 6:30. They close at 8:00 so we had to make it earlier. Also, mark your calendars for November 3rd. Edna Fund has asked our group to pray at the court house as that is election day. I told her we'd be happy to!

Prayer requests to remember this week:
*General attack on particularly Christian marriages and parent/child relationships. And watch out for it in your own family!
*A local family recently adopted 7 siblings and the husband was unexpectedly shipped out by the military. This new mom really needs our prayers.
*A number of sick in our community. You know where they are. Remember that we serve a God who heals!

Live in the blessing and favor of the Lord Jesus!
